Who is responsible

London College of Diplomacy and International Relations Ltd is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Contact admission@diplomacycollege.uk for privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights.

Information we collect

We collect your name, email address, country, education, relevant experience, motivation statement, programme and intake choice, payment preference and consent records when you apply. Do not include sensitive personal information or identity documents in these fields.

How we use information

We use application information to take steps at your request before entering a course contract, assess your application and provide admissions correspondence. We use necessary security and audit records for our legitimate interests in protecting the website and handling enquiries. Payment and accounting records also support legal obligations. Optional programme news relies on separate consent, which you may withdraw by contacting Admissions.

Storage and access

Application fields are encrypted in storage and access is limited to authorised staff. The website runs on Amazon Web Services in Singapore; acknowledgement emails are sent through Amazon SES in France. Authorised College staff may access records from the United Kingdom and France. Stripe processes payment information through its hosted checkout; the College does not receive or store full card numbers.

International processing

Our hosting, email and payment providers may process information outside your country. Their applicable data-processing terms govern their services. Contact admission@diplomacycollege.uk for details about providers, processing locations and applicable international-transfer safeguards.

Retention

Applications that do not lead to enrolment are normally removed from the active system after 180 days. Records needed for an active offer, enrolment, payments, legal obligations or a dispute are retained for those purposes and reviewed when no longer needed. Daily recovery backups are restricted to authorised administrators and expire after 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw marketing consent. Contact admission@diplomacycollege.uk. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or your relevant data-protection authority. Admissions decisions are not made solely by automated processing.
